This free event is for sanctuary-seeking children aged 7-11 years old.
All children must be dropped off promptly at our N.E.S.T Classroom on Newcastle University campus for 9am, wearing comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather (eg. raincoat, sunhats etc). They must have their own backpack, suncream and water bottle. N.E.S.T will provide halal/vegetarian lunches for everyone. Any devices must be kept at the bottom of their bags during the day for safety.
No money is required, but there will be an option to visit the gift shop. Please only send a maximum of £10 and let your child's group lead know that they would like to buy something on the day.
The whole group will walk over to the Life Science Centre together and the children will explore the exhibits in their groups, learning about space, dinosaurs and much more! They will have the opportunity to participate in experiments and watch live shows!
We then aim to be back at the N.E.S.T Classroom at 3pm, for parent collection at 3:15pm.
