With great thanks to StreetGames, we are delighted to offer FREE spaces for Forest School in Benwell for children and young people who are entitled to benefit-related free school meals during the Easter Holidays.
These sessions are for children aged 5–12 and take place without their grown-ups (sorry adults!) at Benwell Nature Reserve from 10am–2pm on the following dates:
Tuesday 7th April – Friday 10th April
There is the option to book individual days or attend multiple sessions.
Delivered by experienced practitioners with high staff ratios, this club supports children to explore the outdoors, manage risk, follow their own interests, and build positive relationships with their peers. Access to child-led experiences in nature is known to support good mental health and well-being.
Children will take part in a wide range of outdoor activities, including fire lighting, whittling, games, crafts, foraging, navigation, and more.
